As many of you know Microsoft is officially going to EOL Windows XP in April 2014. Server 2003 will be following in 2016. On top of that there is the simple fact that these older platforms have other networking and performance limitations. Would you like to migrate your console to a 2008 R2 or 2012 server?
We are currently working on a migration tool that will assist customers in the migration process. This tool will move the critical pieces of the console to a new server to help ease the process for you. Certificates, credentials, groups, templates, the database, Agents, etc. We are currently developing this tool and will be coming up on beta testing and field testing in a couple of months. If you are interested in participating and taking advantage of a little extra hands on support in the process, contact us and request to get access to the tool early.
To get on the list email Protect-Help@shavlik.com. We will be adding customers to the beta in phases and field test will be limited to staff availability so respond as soon as possible to get higher on the priority list.
