Today when I was updating our machines with Ivanti Patch for WIndows tool, I got error on 15 patches on 2 machines.
I was trying to get those patches on machines, but it would always give me error code 2147483647.
After some looking around, I noticed that it's trying to install patches for .NET Framework 4.6.1, but that can't be done, since those 2 servers are Windows Server 2008 (Not R2), so they can't even have .NET Framework 4.6.1.
It would be nice, if Ivanti could know, that those patches can't be applied to Server 2008 machines ... now it's showing me like 15 patches are missing all the time, and it's a bit annoying.
Any ideas for some workaround, how to get rid of those false 15 patches missing? I still want those patches on all my other machines that does have Server 2008 R2 or higher version of OS.
